Nedeljka Mastilovic

Nedeljka "Seka" Mastilovic of Alexandria, VA passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on April 14, 2014. Seka was born in Subotica, Serbia on February 16, 1938. She moved to Mclean, VA in 1975 where she raised three children with her husband. Seka loved to garden, cook, spend time with friends and family, watch movies, and laugh. After her husband's retirement from the World Bank, they moved to Southeast Asia where Seka loved to wander in markets, meet new friends, and travel. After the death of her youngest daughter Vesna, fifteen years ago, she moved back to Northern Virginia with her husband. Seka will always be remembered for her bright smile, endlessly kind heart and wit. She is survived by her husband Vukota Mastilovic; son Predrag "Mick" Mastilovic; daughter Jelena Mastilovic Cali, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. (with visitation at 9 a.m.) at Saint Luke's Orthodox Church, 6801 Georgetown Pike, Mclean, VA 22101. Seka will be buried next to Vesna at Columbia Garden's Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22201.
