Charles R. Townsend

Passed away on Thursday, Sept 26, 2013 in Arlington, VA. He was the dear husband of the late Betty Jane, Father of Judy Kompardo and grandfather of Randy Kompardo and Rachel Kompardo Hough. He proudly served in WWII, and was honored with a Purple Heart. He was loved and admired by all who knew him. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, from11am-1pm at the Arlington-Murphy Funeral Homes, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203.
