Angeline Vallas Ionedes

Dr. Angeline Vallas Ionedes, age 92, of Arlington, VA passed away on July 9, 2022. She was born in Decatur, IL on December 28, 1929 to Steve and Jennie Vallas. Angeline is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Frances and Chris Vallas; and her husband of 34 years, Dr. Nicholas Ionedes. She is survived by their daughters, Nancy Ionedes and Stephanie Thomopoulos (Fotis); and grandchildren, Christine and Nicholas. Angeline was a practicing clinical psychologist who loved life and people. During her lifetime, Angeline was active in Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church and devoted to their family. A public visitation will he held on Monday, July 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at King David Memorial Garden in Falls Church.
