Funeral Service for Evelyn Gardner Blankenship, 98 of Wellington will be Friday, November 19, 2021 at Wellington First Baptist Church at 1 pm. Dr. Tommy Miller will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time at the church. Burial will follow at the Wellington Frist Baptist Church Cemetery. On Sunday morning November 14, Mrs. Evelyn Gardner Blankenship, Granny/Aunt Evelyn, 98 of Wellington, went home to be with the Lord just in time to attend Sunday morning church. Granny was the most loving compassionate person you would ever meet. She loved helping her mom and dad with all the younger siblings. She loved her family with all her heart, but more than anything, she loved her son. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Mannon Gardner and Maggie Harrell Gardner. Her Husband, Hayden Blankenship. Her daughter-in- law Barbara Keseian Blankenship. Brothers and sisters, George Mannon Gardner Jr., Mildred (Jo) Mangum, Mary Lewis, Elbert (Bud) Gardner, George (Bill) Gardner, and Jean Gardner. She is survived by her son, Larry Blankenship. Her Grandchildren Glenda Locke (Dean), Larry Blankenship Jr. (Carrie) Sammi-Ann Blankenship and Sasha Doan (Josh). Great Grandchildren, Toni Blankenship and Colby Locke. Great great grandchildren, Noah Doan, Tanner Doan, and Damien Locke; sisters, Virginia Walden, Nadine Roberts, and Lynda Bentley; and brother, Hansel Gardner.
