Oscar Alejandro Monje Buitrago passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the age of 39. Oscar, longtime resident of McLean, Virginia had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation; and his smile was infectious to everyone around him. He was a private person and rather than worrying about himself, he was always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed. He was passionate about camping, boating, skiing and took painstaking time to research and make good investments for his family. He never hesitated to take on new opportunities and approached everything with honesty and integrity. His legacy will carry on, reminding us how he would light up the room with his positive energy and presence. He touched each one of us in a different way; those cherished memories will forever be felt by all his loved ones. He is survived by Fernando (father), Eliana and Jelks (mother and husband), Fernando (brother), Andrea (former wife), and Lucas (son).
