History

Eastland Funeral Home & Cremation Service was founded in 1940 by John C. Roesch and John Patton at our current location of 904 Gallatin Road. Built in the 1880s, the funeral home was chosen for its historical beauty, which still can be seen in the front foyer today. A chapel and parlors were added to the building in 1953 to meet the community's growing funeral service needs.

Today, our team in East Nashville provides families with the same level of service that has endeared us to the community for more than 75 years.
