Our funeral home's exterior has been updated in craftsman-style, and the interior features historic architecture and classic antique furniture in 2 spacious gathering areas. In addition, our chapel can comfortably accommodate 150 people who also benefit from ample on-site parking.

In addition, we host community events annually in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans organizations that help people understand their veteran family members and guide them through their life stories for a more peaceful passing. History

Drum Funeral Home-Conover was founded in 1926 by David Slyvanius Drum, known as “Van Drum” around the community. Stuart Terry, a Catawba County native, returned from Raleigh and purchased the funeral home in 1986 from the Drum family.

Today, we are honored to continue to serve our community and look forward to helping more families in our area. Drum Funeral Home-Conover celebrated 90 years of continuous operation in 2016 and is among the oldest funeral homes in Catawba County.
