History

Located in Williamston, Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes provide funeral and cremation services to families in central Michigan and the greater Lansing areas.

Our legacy

Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes focuses on offering compassionate care paired with excellence and integrity. Our reputation is built upon 4 generations of family commitment to the communities we serve.

This commitment is deeply rooted in the work ethic of our funeral home's founders. Floyd A. Gorsline began the business as a combination furniture store and undertaking operation at our Williamston location in 1903. The highest standards of quality and professionalism were the well-known foundation of F.A. Gorsline and Sons.

With the merging of the Gorsline Runciman Company and Ball Dunn Funeral Home of Mason in 1972, Ball Dunn’s tradition was embraced by the Lansing area. Angus MacDonald founded the Mason firm in 1868 as a carpentry and undertaking business. This merger formed an exceptional approach to funeral service.

Today, our Williamston funeral home team continues to adhere to the values and principles of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers.
