A lovely funeral home

Pull into our circular driveway and you will see our welcoming traditional-style house. During a funeral, the whole funeral home is yours—we hold only one service at a time.

The comfortable funeral chapel, set with sofas and chairs, holds at least 50 people and there are plenty of open areas for additional guests. A special room of the funeral home allows your family privacy for visitations and more. Should you like a catered reception, we can arrange these options for you with a 3rd-party caterer as well.

Rose E. Sullivan founded the Rose E. Sullivan Funeral Home. Extremely passionate about end-of-life care and funeral services, she was the first female owner of a funeral home in the state of Massachusetts. Her family still plays an active role in the business today.

The team at Waring Sullivan Rose E. Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Service cares about Somerset. We host numerous events throughout the year. We have hosted Easter egg hunts, participated in Lemonade Day, which teaches children the power of entrepreneurship, as well as sponsored the Friends of Somerset Musictown Parade. We also work with local sports teams and the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to sponsor and host fundraisers.
