History

Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service was founded in the early 1900s by a couple named O’Hara. After they passed, the Drake family took over. In 1943, the funeral home was sold to the Nortons. In 1983, when it was sold to the Whitehurst Group, the name changed to Whitehurst & Norton Funeral Service. Today our funeral chapel is known as Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service. In 2007, Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service became a member of the Dignity Memorial network, the largest and most trusted network of funeral, cremation and memorialization service providers.
