History

In 1955, Fred and Frances Kubasak sold their Chicago-based funeral home and moved to Burbank, California, where they began The Valley Funeral Home. The two of them worked with their sons, Fred Jr. and Michael, until Fred Sr. died in 1973. At that time, ownership was passed on to Fred and Michael, who grew the business into 1 of the largest independent firms in the San Fernando Valley.

In 1988, Michael purchased the business and operated the funeral home until 1997, when the funeral home then joined the Dignity Memorial network. Today, Valley Funeral Home continues its commitment to serving Burbank and the surrounding areas.
