Lester Owens

Lester Owens, age 70, of Angola, Indiana, and formerly of Avilla, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Northern Lakes Nursing Center, Angola, Indiana. Lester was born on June 1, 1949 in Carrie, Kentucky to James and Glenna (Slone) Owens, they preceded him in death. He retired from Kraft Foods, Kendallville, Indiana. Survivors include his former wife, Elizabeth Ellen Owens of Angola, Indiana, a step-daughter and son-in-law, Ellen “Yvonne” and Scott Bryan of Angola, Indiana, step-grandchildren, Jon Graves of Kendallville, Indiana, Crystal Cross and her son, LJ Perkins of Corunna, Indiana, Jami Dossett of Jonesville, Michigan, Jennifer Bryan of Romeo, Michigan, Jeremy Bryan of Reading, Michigan, and Brandy Bryan of Coldwater, Michigan, a brother, Bradley Owens of Kendallville, Indiana, and a half-brother, Willard Tittle of LaGrange, Indiana. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Brushy Chapel Cemetery, LaGrange, Indiana.
