Juanita Arlene Keidel, 92, formerly of Ossian, passed away, Friday, January 18, 2013 at Christian Care Retirement Community. She was born March 8, 1920 in Ossian, the daughter of Harry L. and Stella V. (Neuenschwander) Davis. She was a homemaker. She also was a piano teacher and had played the organ at Ossian 1st Presbyterian Church, where she had been a member since 1933. She enjoyed camping, but she will be remembered mostly for her love of music and her love for her grandchildren. Surviving are her son, Jack Keidel of Terre Haute; daughter, Deborah (Richard) Kolkman of Uniondale; grandchildren, Matthew (Lisa) Markley of Bluffton, Jason (Rebecca) Keidel, Michelle (Kevin) Barrett, and Terri (Troy) Shipley, all of Terre Haute; 13 great grandchildren; and brother in law and sister in law, Marlin and Alma Keidel of Poe. In addition to her parents preceding her in death was her husband, Loren G Keidel in 2004. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777 with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation will also be on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 2 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Care Retirement Community or Ossian 1st Presbyterian Church.
