Lider Gladis Ibarburu Arrillaga

Lider Gladis Ibarburu Arrillaga, 91, who was born on March 20, 1933, in Paysandu, Uruguay, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her home in Harrisonburg where she resided with her daughter, Raquel McCann and husband, Ronald. Her husband, Hector Javier Zanoniani Oliveira preceded her in death on November 26, 2008. They were married for 56 years. Her parents, Angel Ibarburu and Catalina Arrillaga also preceded her in death. She is also survived by two other children, one son, Hector Javier Zanoniani Ibarburu, and another daughter, Milka Beatriz Zanoniani Ibarburu, both of Uruguay; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Lider had a bachelor’s degree and was a retired elementary school teacher for 40 years. She will be cremated and her family will have a private service.
