Carol Rochelle Boyd

Mother Carol Rochelle Boyd, was the Prophet of GOD for Tower of Deliverance Fellowship, Inc. Throughout her lifetime, she was never far from friend and partner Gene W. Boyd, Apostle and Son of GOD. They have been blessed to have had eight (8) children together in the LORD: Teacher Christopher Boyd (Mika), Teacher Gina Boyd, Prophetess Ruth Pena-Boyd (Jairo), Evangelist Sarah Milbrodt, Prophetess Rachel Boyd, Teacher Michael Boyd, Teacher Mary Boyd, Teacher Phillip Miller (Andrea); and many grandchildren. Mother Carol Boyd is survived by her brothers Dr. Richard Davis Jr. (Karen), and Michael Davis, her sister Minister Jacqueline Harris and her younger brother Douglas F. Wright Jr. (Celia), in addition to her Aunt Buena Reece, several cousins, neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother: Rev. Douglas F. Wright, Sr. and Dorothy M. Wright. As a minster she has seen the power of GOD in her life. She faithfully served in Tower of Deliverance Fellowship, located throughout the USA, Europe, Africa and the Pacific; serving the needs of the Children of GOD. When the LORD directed her husband to minister to those souls in need, she provided support as a mother, teacher and friend to women in the church. Both she and her husband traveled the world spreading the message of the love of GOD. She had a great love of travel that began in Italy and spanned Europe, Japan and North America. She also adored music of all kinds from the Beatles to Lauren Daigle and Toby Mac. She had a great love of children evidenced by her career choice as a special education teaching assistant and how she spent her time. Throughout her marriage she and her husband took in children who needed additional support. They also volunteered their time in church and the community showing those they came in contact with the love of Jesus. Mother Boyd's walk with the LORD was indeed an exciting one. She has fought the good fight, she has finished her course, she has kept the faith. Now she has gone home to attain her crown of righteousness. II Timothy 4: 6-9 A visitation for Carol will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666.
