Betty J. Gilbert Cash, 68, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. She was a native of Hampton and had most recently resided in Gloucester.
Her love in life was taking care of her family and especially enjoyed her role as grandmother and great grand-mother.
Preceding her in rest is her husband, Harry F. Cash, Sr. Surviving members of her family are her children, Julie Barker and husband, Randy, Karen Beckner and husband, Roger, Harry Cash, Jr. and wife, Rene, and Timmy Cash and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Harley, Brandon, Amber, Joshua, Justin, Sheldon, Lacy, Harry III, Angel, Jessica, Briana, Dylan, Blake, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Kayla Gilbert-Cash, Brandon Wood Jr., Lillian Young, Austin Wood, Alexander Cortez, Isabella Cortez, Mason Davis, Ivy Smith, Kalob Knight, and Christian England; sisters, Mamie, Earline, Marie, Dorthy, and Doris; and brothers, Junior and Billy; brother-in-law, Billy and Linda Cash; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Parklawn Memorial Park. Following the visitation, a service celebrating Betty’s life will take place in the Mausoleum Chapel of Parklawn Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
