Anna Marie Schader

After a long illness, Anna Marie Schader passed away peacefully, Friday, March 30, 2012. She was born March 14, 1936 in New York City, NY. Anna Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Kate Oexner; and her beloved grandson, Christopher Schader. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Schader; son, Joseph Schader and wife, Kathy of Hampton; daughter, Catherine Mackerney and husband, Philip of Gloucester; two granddaughters, Kelly Schader Powell and Patricia Mackerney both of Hampton; and great-grandson, Brodie Powell of Hampton. She was a devoted Christian and longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She belonged to the women sodality and had many friends. She will be missed by all, especially her beloved and closely knit family. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am, on Tuesday, April 3 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hampton with the funeral mass following at 11 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Food Pantry, 2150 Cunningham Dr., Hampton, VA 23666.
