Elizabeth Cromer, 99, passed away on November 21, 2020 in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Culver, IN on January 24, 1921, the daughter of the late Bruce and Isabelle Ogden. She was a strong follower of Christ and attended the Winona Lake Presbyterian Church where she had served as a Deaconess. Elizabeth was an avid genealogist, member of the Daughters of the Union, and also the 17th Century Colonial Dames. Elizabeth was married to Frederick Cromer who passed in 1986. She was a devoted wife and mother to four children; Leah Elizabeth Tyler, Barbara Joy Page Sablic, Mary Faith Duron and Jack Hoy Cromer. Surviving are her children Leah Tyler, Barbara Page, Mary (Mike) Duron and Jack Cromer; grandchildren, Jill Cromer Iversen and Jaqueline Cromer Gold, Sandra Tyler, Jennifer Gardner Cummins, Julia Gardner Gibler, Jessica Tyler, and Johanna Tyler-Jones, Jamie Page-O'Shea, Hannah Duron and Troy Duron; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Isabelle Odgen; sister, Margaret Jewel; brother, Bruce Ogden Jr. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46815 with calling one hour prior. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, PO Box 617, Winona Lake, IN 46590.
