David Stuart Cole

David Stuart Cole, age 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born May 11, 1936 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Harold and Minta Cole. He was a graduate of Northside High School class of 1955, he served four years in the United States Air Force. He retired from GTE in 1993. David is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Joan Cole, two sons, Chris (Pam) Cole of Fort Wayne, and Steve (Tammy) Cole of Keller Texas; grandchildren Jennifer (Gabe)Cole-Johnson, Shannon Cole, and David Cole all of Fort Wayne, Amanda Cole, Sarah Cole, and Emily Cole all and one great-granddaughter Naomi Johnson all of Keller, Texas. Arrangements entrusted to D O McComb & Sons Funeral Home- Maplewood Chapel 4017 Maplecrest Road A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Taylor Chapel Methodist Church, 10145 Mayesville Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
