Theodore Robert White

Theodore Robert White, age 93, of Culpeper, VA passed away at The Culpeper Assisted Living Community on July 17, 2022. He was born June 10, 1929 in Washington, DC to John Joseph and Susan Fewkes White. Ted retired after 32 years as a computer programmer at the Pentagon. He was also a 4th degree Knight with the K.O.C., as well as, a member of the Precious Blood Catholic Church. Ted always enjoyed being with family and friends, gardening, and helping neighbors. His daughter and family always had a great time with Ted and his wife, Toodie, when they lived in Myrtle Beach. We were blessed to have him nearby for family gatherings once he and Toodie moved to Culpeper in their later years and he will surely be missed.

Surviving Theodore are his daughter Stephanie Yachechko and her husband Tom of Warrenton, VA; son Theodore R. White, Jr. of Riverdale, MD; stepchildren Lynne Abraham and Susan Hewitt; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E. Edmondson Street, Culpeper, VA with a time of fellowship and food to follow in the church fellowship hall. There will be a private burial held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Washington, VA later that afternoon.
