Vicente Rivera was born on October 30, 1949 to Vicente and Francisca in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Vicente was one of six siblings, he was the only male named after his father out of honor and dignity. Remembered by all his family, many legacies will be left to continue to pass his name with remembrance and honor. He was a jokester, always having his family laughing with his clever and ingenious mind. He was hands-on he was able to figure out his way around any mechanical instrument he touched. He was known to be called as “ El Genio Chapusero” He loved working on his cars as well as helping others with whatever they may have come across as troubling. Vicente and Wanda were married for 33 years and together they had six children- 3 women and 3 men; from his previous marriage Vicente had 7 children- 4 girls and 3 boys. He also had 33 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Throughout his life span, Vicente received his Associates Degree and went to work for the CIA in his home country. With his deep-commanded attentive voice, Vicente made sure to let his family know that he loved his entire family. He was always sharp, suited up and clean dressed. He was always playful in a manner to which brought smiles and laughter into the home of the Rivera’s. Vicente loved his wife very dearly, with all his heart and he could not live without her. He was described like Shrek, Ogre on the outside, and a teddy bear on the inside. Vicente will always be remembered by his family and loved ones forever. He will be missed by everyone’s presence he touched.
