Suzanne was predeceased by her brother Denis Gendron; her parents, Marion E. and Leon H. Gendron; and her two sisters, Michelle A. Kozak and Denise L. Boushie. She is survived by her sister Carolyn West of Bothell, WA.; her two brothers, Norman and Debra Gendron of Webster, MA., Stephen and Tamara Gendron of Binghamton, N.Y.; her daughter Pamela DiVenuti of Centerville, MA.; her two sons, Michael and Buffie Mayo of Little Rock, ARK., Stephen and Kim Mayo of Pueblo, CO. She is also survived by eight beloved grandchildren, four darling great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Suzanne was born on November 5, 1940, the oldest of six siblings. As a young girl growing up in the small town of Spencer, MA. she was a 4-H member, a Girl Scout and a Rosarian. She was a graduate of David Prouty High School, Class of 1958.
When Suzanne was in her mid-twenties, she moved to Pueblo, CO and later to Hugo, CO where she was employed for many years as a booking sergeant for the Department of Correction. After her retirement she moved to Yuma, AZ to enjoy the warm sun and cacti.
Suzanne had a passion for living life to the fullest. She was always on the go traveling, singing Country/Western karaoke, taking pictures of sunrises and sunsets, tending to her plants and just being with family and friends. Because she was such a special person and loved by so many, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
There was a private family service held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA on November 3, 2023 where Suzanne is interred next to her late sister, Denise Boushie.
