Steven G. Hall, age 47, born and raised in Yuma, Arizona, unexpectedly passed away in Texas. His devastated family include his parents, James and Nancy Hall of Yuma, brother Michael (Micheal) Hall and sister Kelly (Andy) Mount. Steven leaves behind his wife, Melissa and their beautiful children Chloe Isabella and Vincent Lucas Hall of Fort Worth, Texas, whom he adored and was very proud of.
Steven attended Crane Schools and graduated from Cibola H.S. in 1995. Growing up, he was a Cub Scout in Pack 61, played Crane Baseball, YYSA Soccer and excelled in Taekwondo. At Cibola, he lettered in Wrestling and Football, as well as being an excellent student. He always liked to tell everyone he was once “Captain of the Football Team and President of the Drafting Club”. He had brains and brawn.
After graduation, Steven attended the CAD Institute in Phoenix for college and truly developed his skills and love for construction and drafting. Returning to Yuma, he began to work at Yuma Truss, where his love of trusses took off. He went back to school in Tucson to attend the University of Arizona and worked for a civil engineering company. Eventually, life led him to Oceanside, California, where he worked at Stone Truss Company on several well-known projects with his mentor and dear friend Gary Sartor.
Steven married his High School Sweetheart, Melissa Conley in 2004, in Oceanside, where he raised his family, enjoying the beaches and supporting the Padres and Chargers.
After 20 years in Oceanside, they decided it was time for a change and moved to Fort Worth, Texas, which is where they lived until Steven passed away.
Steven loved riding his Quad with his Dad and Brother, enjoying many family camping trips with Mom and Kelly to El Golfo, Mexico and the Imperial Sand Dunes. His friends were always included. He learned to play guitar, was a creative artist and loved to cook for his family, especially gourmet Italian food.
Steven was dearly loved and will be forever missed by his friends and family, including his Godparents, cousin and several nieces and nephews.
Inurnment Graveside Services will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, March 15th, at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society of Yuma or to the March of Dimes.
