Raul Mariscal Mendoza

Raul Mariscal Mendoza, 77, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at YRMC after a long illness. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on May 21, 1937. He attended school in Peoria, AZ. Raul retired from Yuma County Water Users Association. He was a member, choir member, and Guadalupano at Immaculate Conception Church. Raul will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Raul is survived by his wife, Dolores Mendoza of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Mary Ellen Graham of Yuma, AZ; sons, Raul (Beverly) Mendoza of Gilbert, AZ, Roy (Susan) Mendoza of Yuma, AZ, and Manny (Lydia) Mendoza of Yuma, AZ; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Raul was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Teresa Mendoza; and his brothers, Ray, Clarence, Elias, and Henry Mendoza.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, 505 S. Avenue B, Yuma with Monsignor Richard O'Keeffe officiating.
