Michael Richard Sergent

Michael Richard Sergent passed away at his home on June 20,2016. Michael was born in Yuma, AZ on November 28, 1961 at Parkview Hospital. Michael worked as a carpenter for 25 years and had recently found a job that he dearly loved in the Garden Department at Home Depot. He spent lots of time on his cactus garden at his home. He was also an avid reader and volunteered at The Friends of the Library bookstore.

Michael was the son of William (Bill) Sergent and Mary Nell (Deason) Sergent. He is survived by his mother, Mary Nell of Yuma, sister, Patti Sergent of Round Rock, TX, his twin Mark (Armida) of Salinas, CA, brother Steve Sergent (Mickey) of Naples, FL, brother Bill Jr. of Naples, FL, nephews Doug (Natalie), William, Christian and Grant, niece Liz and his cousins Larry (Harolyn) Deason and Imelda Jo (Frank) Lynch as well as numerous great nieces and a great nephew.

We will miss him dearly, we already do.

He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Deborah Sergent.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Yuma Regional Medical Center Chapel on June 23, 2016 at 1:30 pm.
