A homemaker, she was born February 16, 1957, in Colonia Reforma, Baja California, Mexico.
Visitation will be held from 5-10 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Kammann. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with interment to follow at the Garden of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, Arizona. Pallbearers include, Arturo Morales Sr., Arturo Morales Jr., Edgar Morales, Christian Morales, Martin Leyva and Amador Reyes.
Maria will be dearly missed by all who knew her especially her family. She is survived by her husband, Arturo Morales, Sr.; sons, Arturo Morales, Jr., Edgar Morales and Christian Morales; mother, Emerita Herrera; brother, Martin Leyva and Javier Leyva; sisters, Leticia Muñoz, Alma Reyes, Yolanda Cabrera, Irma Leyva and Martha Navarete; and 4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Manuel.
