Irene Jerlene Murrietta

Irene was a home maker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Celia Sosa, as well as her sisters, Rosemary Martinez and Lydia Norten and her brother, John Sosa.

Irene is survived by her husband, Gilbert Murrietta Jr. of 56 years; her children include her daughters, Theresa Murrietta and Olivia (Bill) Manary; son, Robert (Lori) Murrietta; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Monday, May 23, 2016 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, followed by the interment at the Desert Memorial Lawn Park in the Garden of Holy Cross in Yuma, Arizona.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Manary, Joshua Manary, Bobby Murrietta, Juan Gonzales, Joel Torres, John Sosa and Freddy Taylor.

Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Murrietta, Bill Manary, Carlos Murrietta, Ruben Conchola, Lance Menta and Donald Murrietta.
