She worked at MCAS-Yuma, Chretins restaurant on 4th Avenue and other local businesses.
She is preceded in death by husband Stanley H. DeMello, George Gonzales Sr., sons George Jr. and Raymond Gonzales, stepson Howard DeMello, and son-in-law Albert Prieto; grandchildren Jason, Rayanna, and Jeffrey; parents Jesus and Refugia "Ruth" Fass Badilla, and siblings Manuel, Sarah, Inez Guerin, Eddie, Lupe Harrigan, and Bertha.
She is survived by her children Jennie (John) Zamora, Maria Prieto, Linda (Alan), Larry (Julie), Bobby (Kindra), Cindy (Elsa); stepchildren Marlene, David, Theresa, Michael and Janet; daughter-in-law, Barbara Gonzales and her brother, Danny (Mattie) Badilla, 15 grandchildren, and numerous great and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
