Glenda went to rest with the lord on May 24th 2024.
Glenda is preceded by her father Wayne Cook, mother and step father Frances and Dale Yates, brother John Cook, grandmother Jayne, and her first love/ father to her children Clyde Morris.
Glenda had such a beautiful spirit, she always made the people around her laugh (was elected class clown her senior year of high school), feel seen, heard and loved.
Her personality was unmatched. She was always ready for an adventure, she loved traveling, her friends, her family, and music.
In her younger years she enjoyed riding her horses Geronimo and Dan, swim team, helping her dad farm, admiring her mother’s many talents, her dogs, camping, and family gatherings.
In her more recent years Glenda still enjoyed swimming, adventures, and making people laugh, but her real joy came from her family, her children and grandchildren were her world. She was silly, fun, and so loving. To her grandkids she was known as “Monkey Nanny” not grandma. A name definitely suited for her and she took pride in it.
Glenda is survived by her son Douglas Morris, daughter Michele (Robert) Schroeder , grandchildren Bradley and Makenna Schroeder. Sister Wanda (Kevin) Beavers, Sister Caren Scott and her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
“If ever there is tomorrow
when we're not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...
I'll always be with you.”
