Chuck grew up in the Monterey Park-Alhambra area. In the early 1970’s, after serving his country as a Tank Mechanic in the US Army, Chuck relocated to Yuma, Arizona. He worked as a bus mechanic and later as the Food Distribution Warehouse Manager for School District One from which he retired.
Chuck enjoyed building and racing dirt track cars with this brother Steven, at the old Yuma Speedway. Later in life he dedicated his time to becoming a Master Woodcrafter. Chuck and his loving wife of 45 years Sylvia owned and operated their business "Woodeze".
Chuck will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving, caring, humble and gracious man. He was accepting of all and had a “live and let live” attitude. He was also fiercely loving and loyal to those he knew. We will miss your love, sense of humor and that infectious smile of yours.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Cox, his son Randy Cox, daughter-in-law Amanda Cox and four grandchildren.
Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Joseph Cox.
Per Chuck’s request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Yuma.
