Carmen V. Rodriguez, 85, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010. She was born May 18, 1924 in Somerton, AZ.
Carmen was a cook and dishwasher in the dietary department of Yuma Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed her family and watching the Food Network.
Carmen is survived by her daughters, Dolores Moreno of Grover City, CA, Isabel Hancock, Rebecca Seveses of Yuma and Elena Antrez of Phoenix, AZ; sons, Adam, Robert and Thomas Rodriguez all of Yuma; 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Manuel Villaneda and John Villaneda; sisters, Matilda Burkey, Helen Villaneda, and Isabel Troy; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Barbara Villaneda; sons, William and Louie Rodriguez; daughter, Carmen Valenzuela.
A visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 12:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, Ambrose Seveses Jr., Robert Antrez, Jonathan Seveses, Michael Moreno, Joseph Rodriguez, and Richard Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers are Nicolas Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, William Rodriguez Jr., Mark Moreno, Adita Rodriguez, Louie Rodriguez, and Alex Antrez.

Carmen V. Rodriguez, 85, of Yuma, died Feb. 21, 2010, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 18, 1924, in Somerton and was a cook and dishwasher in the dietary department at YRMC.
A wake will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be noon Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.
