Hugely sad to hear of Steve's passing. Loved talking with him about the latest sensors and technology in the hallways at Esri or on the UC floor. Kind, curious, open and friendly. He will begreatly missed. My condolences to the entire family, friends, and his extended Esri family  as well.

Steve is missed and will be missed by us all at Esri. Having worked with Steve and created content with him his leadership and friendship will be felt in my heart forever.

It is with deep condolences that I write this message. I did not have the opportunity to work with Steve at Esri but after I was hired I moved to Forest Falls and was informed Steve was a fellow resident. When I reached out to him at the behest of my manager Steve was glad to give me guidance about the nuances of mountain living and gardening which I greatly appreciated. I send my deepest sympathies and kindest regards to your family.

Steve was just a great guy, I found out late of his death and his will be missed by many. Steve and I connected in trying to get things done, remote sensing (including drones), both of us serving in the Army Engineer Corps, 3D with lidar and tried to meet with him on each of my many trips to Redlands over the years. I loved the smile on his face, even when things were not going his way. His enthusiasm for Esri and making it better was always there. My condolences to his family.

We've had endless laughs together, especially because Julia is hilarious! Steve and his family have truly brought more joy into our lives.

In our professional journey, Steve took us to incredible places worldwide for conferences. Beyond being a colleague, he welcomed us into his family with open arms.

I loved Steve's unbridled passion and commitment to whatever he was working on at Esri. It was infectious, and spoke to a deeper integrity and generosity that was within him.  He was truly special and I was blessed to have crossed paths with him, if only too briefly.

I will always cherish the memories we created together as we traveled the world, experiencing different cultures and sharing countless moments of joy. Steve was very good at making those events even more special, and I am grateful for the friendship we developed along the way. Here in Aberdeen, Scotland, at the Hydro 2014 Conference.

Steve was always pushing forward and constantly making connections and sharing information across people and teams. One of the nicest people to work with at Esri.  He always wanted to help and was always looking for ways to streamline processes and share the things he built with others. Sending sincere sympathy to all  Steve's family and friends. He will be missed.

I serve on the Content Marketing team at Esri and was fortunate to collaborate with Steve on several customer success stories. His enthusiasm for Esri was evident in our interactions and I am grateful for the time he took to explain industry nuances to craft these stories better. I am sorry to hear of his passing and offer my sincere condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers. He will be greatly missed.

You just know it, when you meet a good human being, who is also a great mentor, listener and colleague. At the end of the day, you remember only the kind people. He was one of them, for me, at Esri. This saddens my heart. I will always remember his chuckle. Thanks for your generosity and guidance Steve. You will be missed. Happy Journey!

Several months later I have some perspective on the difference Steve made in many lives. He truly cared for the success of the greater team members, and was always looking ahead to the improvement in work aided by technology that others might not yet see. He imagined the future of widespread uncrewed aerial systems usage years before most people understood their implications, for example. I miss brainstorming with him about which new technologies might be most effective, grounded in the work history we shared from surveying in Alaska with NOAA, even if we never served together directly. Fair winds and following seas, Steve!

Steve was one of the first folks I met at Esri from outside of my team.  Always a Soldier for Life, he was excited to connect to teammates and I think he had a special place in his heart for veterans like himself.  I appreciated his early coaching and his routine interactions for our business with the Army, but I miss his always positive attitude and big smile.

I first met Steve many years ago at a conference when I was working for another company. It was a brief introduction, not more than 10 minutes.
I didn't see him again until I started with Esri last year and it was like seeing an old friend. He had that kind of welcoming personality. 
My sincere condolences to family, friends, loved ones. We are all better for knowing him.

Steve was one of the first people I met when I started work 6 years ago.  His office was directly across from mine so I saw him often. He was always kind and spoke about his girls often.  I will truly miss him.

I first met Steve back in 2011 when I joined the same industry solutions group he worked on at the time. He was immediately welcoming, offering help to a new team member that was trying to find his way, and he already had ideas of what we could do together! I would say this same spirit lasted as long as I had the pleasure of working with Steve - he was always looking for ways to do more together and offering ideas. I will miss him here at Esri. My condolences to his entire family!

What a bright star Steve was and he shared that with everyone, the world needs more Steve Snow's. Steve was one of those "go-to" people who you could always count on to help with challenging problems and he had a positive attitude that never seemed to waiver. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Steve always had a great passion for everything he did.  He seemed to love his work with Esri and in the field of Imagery.  I think it's a great gift to find work that you are passionate about and I know that Steve had that.  

I remember interviewing Steve when I was the Industry Solutions Manager.  I liked him immediately - enthusiastic, intelligent, polite and knowledge seeking.  In the nine years we worked in the same department he was a constant smiling face despite challenges, always willing to help others and unafraid to offer a different opinion when he felt it necessary. He is a real loss to the Esri family but much more so to his wife, children and extended family.  I wish them peace in knowing what a terrific and kind person he was.  He is missed.

So very sad when I heard about Steve- I still think of him every day.  My condolences to Julia and girls, to his mother, Cyndy Snow, and his brothers, Dan and Kevin. His father, Craig Snow passed away previously in October 1995.  Steve left behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.  We all mourn and remember Steve as a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.  Love to you Steve. May God bless you in heaven.

There are not many people you meet in life, over a span of more than 15 years, that are like Steve:
- always positive
- always looking for a solution, not moaning about the problems
- always willing to discuss options and LISTEN
But this sounds like 'business' - which is not what sets him aside most: His personality has always been 'non-business' to me, though we only met in person probably 5 times, we were Friends across continents - and that is what I will miss him for.
... From Germany, which he always commented on as a place he liked!

Steve and I worked together for 17 years. He was an awesome colleague and friend. Steve was very intelligent, and I learned a lot from him. He enjoyed learning about new technology and made it the focus of his master’s degree. He was a hard worker and good at figuring out how to get things done. Steve always made a point of asking people how they were doing and really meant it.
Steve loved his wife Julia and daughters Sofia and Sadie very much and would talk about them often. You were a great guy Steve and you will be greatly missed!

Great memories of a really great person. I will try to be more patient like you when I get frustrated....I don't know how you did it.  Miss you already. 

Steve always took time to say hello when we'd pass each other on campus or at a conference over the years. He was always a pleasure to work with - I'm glad to have known him.

I have met and worked with Steve a couple times over the years, last time as we manned booths at the User’s conference last year. Steve was a very genuine good guy, pleasure to have met and worked with him. Very sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to Steve’s family and friends. 

Steve was one of the true “good guys.” We had many wonderful discussions about drones in the ESRI Cafe and on the campus sidewalks. He always made time to stop and talk. I greatly appreciated his easy going manner and wealth of knowledge. It was a pleasure working on design projects with him, and it was a privilege to have known him. He will surely be missed. My prayers and condolences to his wife and children. 

I serve on the Esri Education team and have wonderful memories of interacting with Steve.  He was always very supportive of our education work and I know his smiles and kindness will live on in each of us here and with his family forever.  Peace to you all. 

Steve was a "good human being" with strong integrity, kind in so many different ways, always a pleasure to work with, and fun to be with. We shared some good times - on and off work. He will really be missed, may his soul rest in peace.

I am so saddened and sorry to hear of Steve's passing. We were college friends and worked many all nighters getting our calculus homework done. I don't think either of us would have made it throught multivariable calculus without each other's help. I still remember taking Steve home after working on math all night, hearing a report of an accident in Bellingham on the news radio, then Steve calling me soonafter that it was his dad on the news, who passed at a relatively young age. Like Steve, I am an Army veteran so we connected on that too. I haven't been the best at staying in touch (things like life and family, plus I live way out in Maryland). Please accept my deepest condolences. I wish I would have kept better touch. May God bless his wife and kids too.
