Loleta was born in Moreland Oklahoma on May 23, 1934. At the age of 9, she moved to California where she graduated from Colton High school in 1952. She attended Scadron Business College and upon completion was employed in the administrative offices at Colton High School until the birth of her first child. For 45 years she was happy to work alongside her family as the Office Manager at Pacific Glass Company in Rialto.
Loleta raised 3 children, often shuffling them to and from all of their practices and attending all of their games, performances and events. She also played an active part in the lives of her 3 grandchildren.
Loleta was loved by everyone whose life she touched. She was known for her kindness, empathy and loving nature. She was blessed with a wide circle of friends with whom she shared many interests. She was an active member in her Church, Judson Baptist in San Bernardino. She was founder and “Queen” of the local chapter of Red Hats. She loved to travel and took many vacations and weekend trips with family and friends. A favorite destination was anywhere along the California Coast. She met with her sisters Bonnie and Sandra each month for lunch. She enjoyed cooking delicious holiday meals as well as barbeques or tacos to celebrate any occasions, or for no reason at all.
Almost every holiday weekend was spent at her daughter’s, often with granddaughters and friends. They would shop, take day trips to places like Catalina or Disneyland, watch movies and have fun. But it was mostly shopping.
Loleta was very creative and was always crafting. She would make things such as Christmas Ornaments, jewelry and even dolls. She loved her yard and kept it beautiful with a variety of plants and flowers, including many rose bushes and fruit trees. Anyone who visited her house remembers her concrete jungle of gnomes and animals.
She is preceded by her husband of 61 years (m. 1954), Robert Everett Lynch (2015) her sister Bonita Joyce Park Champion (2020) and her parents Ruby Grace Darr Park (1972) and Charles Preston Park (1957).
She is survived by her children – Gary Robert Lynch and his wife Virginia Anne Lynch, Daughter Rhonda Lynn Lynch and Son Cary Park Lynch. Grandchildren – Ryan Kelly Lynch, Robin Shelly Hernandez and Shenese Cruz. She also leaves 7 great grandchildren - Vincent, Annamaria, Leila, Emery, Aurora, Aurelia and Violet.
She also leaves behind her sister Sandra Sue Park Freels.
