The couple married in 1987 and lived in happiness together in Yucaipa until he passed tragically from pancreatic Cancer in 2007.

Alice was legendary within the family for her Red Velvet Cake and baked them regularly for her grandchildren’s birthdays. She was an active and dedicated member of the Bryant Street Baptist Church, sang with the choir, and often volunteered at Loma Linda Medical Center Children's Hospital.
A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Weaver/Hughes Mortuary, with a reception to follow at 3:30 at Bryant Street Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
