He was born on October 18, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Joliet Catholic High in Joliet, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate college degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and later graduated from Northwestern University Law School in Chicago, Illinois.
Upon graduation he took a position teaching international law in Zambia, Africa. Then he traveled through Europe and eventually returned to Chicago to work in corporate law. In 1983 he moved to Phoenix, Arizona to be near family, and worked in real estate and held various teaching positions in Fountain Hills, Arizona, and Casa Grande. Paul sang in the St. Mary’s Basilica Choir and was a member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church and later Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He enjoyed opera, art, books, outdoor nature and family holidays.
He was preceded in death by Paul Alan Green, his father, and by Lillian Walsh Green, his mother. He is survived by Roger Alan Green, his brother and Joan Green, his sister-in-law of Sun City West, Arizona and by Susan L. Green, his niece, and Stephen P. Green, his nephew. He is lovingly remembered by Tony Rea, Mary Rea, Nicolas Rea and Lilianna Rea of Cave Creek, Arizona.
