Kenneth John Champagne was born on February 9th 1966 and left this world on the morning of August 6th 2017. He grew up in Irondequoit, NY and attended Eastridge High School, followed by trade school where he attained his certification as an auto mechanic. In 1987 he married his first wife Anna and together they had two children, Alan and Ashley, living as a family in Ontario and Williamson, NY. After a handful of years he changed careers and attained his CDL, initially driving long-haul truck routes, followed by local hauling for a recycling company in Rochester, NY. In the early 2000's he moved cross-country to the Phoenix area to be closer to his father and best friend, Jerry Champagne. It was there he found a fit as tow manager for Koppy's Body Shop, a position he held until his passing. Ken was the life of the party, he loved to make people laugh and smile, and he was well known for his jokes and humorous comments of varying degrees of appropriateness. Ken wanted to know anyone and everyone around him, and if he ever met a stranger, they didn't stay that way for long. He loved his family dearly and was very proud of them, talking about them to anyone who would listen, and showing them off at every opportunity. He enjoyed shooting firearms, "jeeping", working on and building cars, watching them make left turn after left turn during NASCAR races, and spending time with his faithful dog Junior.
Ken is preceded in death by his father Jerry.
He is survived by his mother Carole Labombard, son Alan, daughter Ashley, and three grandchildren, Jason, Jayden, and Gian. Also surviving are his sister Lynne her two children, James and Erika, brother Jerry and wife, AnnMarie, their three children, Lydia, Angelina, and Emily, and Ken's two former wives, Anna and Patricia.
