Christopher Anthony Peterson - born December 29, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. He fell asleep March 16, 2019, in Sun City, Arizona, and is awaiting the Return of Jesus Christ. Chris is survived by his wife Missy, and their three children, Brittney, Mark (wife Misty), and Matthias, along with 3 grandchildren (Malachi, Christopher, and Kellan), all residing in the greater Phoenix area. He is one of 12 children - Big Sis, Don, Terri, Jan, Joe, Mike, Mary, (Chris), Chuck, Sam, Rose aka Little Sis, and Joanne.
Chris loved, trusted and believed God his whole life. His example of not just knowing the Scriptures, but living and applying them, was evident to all who knew him. He touched many lives with God’s love, care and help, time and time again.
Chris was a very loving husband and father, and outside of God, he loved his family more than anything else. As his children left home to start their own lives, he always cherished family times together.
He was a patriot, with a deep love for his country. He was dedicated to praying for his country, as well as vitally concerned with causes he felt would protect and preserve the U.S. Constitution.
He loved the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team, in the good times, and in the not so good times. He enjoyed hiking with Missy and traveling.
Chris’s work career was in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and he worked with many of the same people throughout his long career, and enjoyed their friendship as well.
His cheerful demeanor, humor, and “always ready to help anyone and everyone” attitude will be greatly missed. Those who knew him can honor his memory by following his example of loving God, believing God, and loving people. He was a faithful man, on which God places a very high value.
