Born December 18, 1946 in York, she was the daughter of the late Thurlow H. "Lolly" and Miriam (Gilbert) Hess.
Jane was a 1964 graduate of Red Lion High School, a 1965 graduate of The Empire Beauty School and was a former volunteer for Heartland Hospice.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Jessey Horn and her husband, Andy of Dover; and a brother, Thurlow H. "Skip" Hess, Jr. of Red Lion.
A graveside service will be held at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York, on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1 p.m. Friends and guests should meet at the entrance to the cemetery by 12:45 p.m on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Heartland Hospice, 3417 Concord Road, Suite C, York, PA 17402 or in honor of her late husband to Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
