Barbara Ann Boyer, age 78 passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Born July 18, 1946 in Columbia, PA. Barbara was a daughter of the late Charles and Geraldine (Meister) Goss. She graduated from Eastern York High School in 1964. Barbara was married to Raymond Boyer till his death in 1979.
For many years, Barbara had a home daycare. She then went to work at the Masonic Homes in Elizabethtown first as a CNA and then a houseparent at their children's home until she retired. Barbara was a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years, serving as a Worthy Matron several times. She also was a member of Amaranth and the Maytown American Legion Auxiliary. Barbara loved traveling especially going on cruises and to Disney. More than anything, she loved her family.
Barbara is survived by her sons Brian Boyer (and partner, Kym,) Craig Boyer (and wife, Brenda,) Todd Boyer (and wife, Candy;) and Dean Boyer (and wife, Sheri.) Barbara will also be missed by her 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters, Sandra Hoffmaster (and husband, Brad) and Gail Clinton.
Following cremation, Barbara's service will be held on Thursday September 26, 2024 at Sell Chapel on the campus of the Masonic Homes. 200 Freemason Dr. Elizabethtown, PA
Visitation will be at 1pm with a memorial service at 2pm.
