Virgilio Salas De Guzman

Virgilio De Guzman, age 67, formerly of Placentia, CA passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. He completed high school from Araneta University in the Philippines and received his bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Nueva Ecija also in the Philippines.

He spent in his energy on numerous endeavors with the last as being a licensee and administrator for CarVer Senior Homes.

Ver, as he is fondly called, enjoys singing karaoke and making everybody around him laugh and smile. He was a loving and caring husband, son, father, brother and uncle. To his friends, he was their second father, the uncle they wished they had and a brother from another mother. He will be most remembered as the person you can rely to make things light when times are hard, provide wisdom when you are being stupid, make you humble when you are being arrogant, and be the strong shoulders when life’s burden is heavy.

He is survived by childhood sweetheart and wife, Carmen Nicolas; sons, daughter, siblings and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

His family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00pm, Friday, July 15, 2022 at the McAulay and Wallace Mortuary, 18311 Lemon Dr., Yorba Linda, CA 92886.
