Robert “Bob” Richard was born March 11, 1960 at Loring Air Force Base, Maine. Being the son of a career military man, Bob had the opportunity to live in many different places, including: Maine, Massachusetts, Virginia, Tennessee, Oregon, California, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
Bob graduated from Altus high school, in Altus, Oklahoma, in 1978. Shortly after graduation, Bob moved to California to attend Orange Coast College to pursue a career in the culinary arts.
While there Bob received an Associate of Arts degree, and his chef certification. He had a long career as an award winning chef and was always eager to share his passion. One of the highlights of his career was having the opportunity to work under Wolfgang Puck at the Academy Awards.
Bob will be remembered for his bright blue eyes, knowledge of trivia, love for Disneyland, The Beatles, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Cleveland Browns…and of course his steel trap memory. (He never forgot anyone’s birthday!)
