Lois Ann Ament

Lois was born to Harold and Loretta (Huber) Ament in Worthington, Iowa. She attended St Paul's school in Worthington and after graduating from H.S. moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, but living in cold winters was not for her so she moved to California in 1970 to join her sister. She worked for Layton Soft Water Co. for 8 years as a receptionist then becoming a purchasing agent she was employed by General Automation Inc. (1978-1995), Peritronics Medical, Inc. (1995-1997), and St Joseph's Health System 1997 until she retired in 2015.

Lois loved music especially barbershop and was a member of Harborlites Sweet Adeline Chorus for 50 years. She enjoyed shopping keeping Amazon in business, bingo and casino trips and had a quick wit and great sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by parents Harold and Loretta Ament, brother Thomas Ament, sister in law Joan Ament and brother in law Alfred Geistkemper. She is survived by sisters Norma Ament Simmons and Verna Ament Geistkemper, nephews Dale (Vickie) Geistkemper, Kevin Geistkemper, Jay (Beth) Geistkemper, Steven (Donna) Ament, Wayne (Diane) Ament Timothy (Patsy) Ament, nieces Denise Ament Moore and Sandra Geistkemper Schiller. and great niece and nephews.

She will truly be missed but we know she is at peace and singing bass with the angels.
