Born July 15, 1935 in Morgantown, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late A.H. & Alice VanLandingham and a proud graduate of West Virginia University. She was married to the late Richard C. Wade of Morgantown. She is survived by brothers Robert, of Kansas City and Tom, of Morgantown. She is also survived by three daughters and their husbands, Pamela & Rick, Deana & Steve, Shari & Ross, one son Gary and his wife Martha, fourteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Jane loved Jesus with her whole heart and shared His unconditional love with all who knew her!

On A Personal Note:
Mom was happiest when her family was together. We would all pile into the house for holidays and sleep wherever there was open floor space or available closets. We played Tripoli, Spinner, football in the street, and various pool events.
Mom and Dad loved people and opened their home to anyone they knew. They loved Jesus and shared about their relationship with Him openly. Mom led women’s Bible studies and had a heart for children. She worked at the youth outreach in Kingsburg and coordinated with all the surrounding churches to organize the town’s first harvest festival. Dad was on balloon animal and hot dog duty. Her Recreation degree from W.V.U. was utilized throughout her life!
After her husband of fifty-four years passed away in 2010, Jane became involved in the men’s prison ministry at Valley State Prison, where she worked with the chaplain to build relationships and offer hope to the men who attended chapel.
In July 2019, she moved to Yorba Linda, CA, to be closer to 3 of her 4 children. If she could have teleported back and forth to San Jose to be with Shari, it would have been perfect. This was the first time in her whole life that she lived close to family. She walked every morning with a friend and swam every afternoon until the water was too cold. She loved her little dog Baxter, and he was living his best life (19 years young).
On the morning of November 16, Jane was napping in her recliner when Jesus came and took her by the hand to her eternal home with Him. We love her with all our hearts and will miss her always, but we can’t help but smile picturing her new life in heaven with the Lord and her other loved ones.
