He was born in Radford, VA on June 26, 1950 to Kemper and Marjorie Walters of Garden Grove, who predeceased him.
In 1968 he graduated from Santiago High School in Garden Grove. After different jobs, he drifted into the construction business, where he cemented his future.
In 1980 he started his own business, Jim Walters Construction. For 40 years he took the business to great heights to support his family and secure their futures.
Jim had many interests in his life, including classic car restoration, restoring two vehicles of his own. Fords, naturally.
He also was a fan of the Angels baseball team, the LA Chargers and Nascar.
He will be missed by all who survive him including his brothers, Paul Walters and Gary Walters, his nephew Mike Walters, his niece Stephanie Bronson, nephew Gary Walters and many family members and friends.
Services to be held Monday, January 27 at 12:00 PM at McAulay and Wallace Mortuary in Yorba Linda. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange.
