Esther was born on December 1, 1944 to Ben and Julia Vasquez in Placentia, California. She was an enrolled member of Pechanga Band of Indians.
She is survived by her two sisters, Eva Torres and Isabel Mancillas, and her brother Benjamin Vasquez. Her brothers Paul Vasquez and Freddie Vasquez preceded her in death.
Esther worked at Fender Guitar, School Pictures and Kwikset where she retired.
Esther met Ronald Chacon in 1964 and wed shortly thereafter. They raised five children together in Placentia, California.
Family was the most important thing to her and she truly believed that babies are a gift from God. Esther was present for most of her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s births.
Esther enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to travel with her family. Some of her favorite things to do were listening to live music and going on Silver Feather trips with her sisters. Time with family was important to her and she loved spending time individually with grandkids who took her out for breakfast. She also enjoyed visiting tribal casinos to try her luck.(And she was generally very lucky)
Esther leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children, Rowena, Catalina, Julie, Michael and Monique. Her 22 grand children Natalie, Elyssia, Eric, Joshua, Jolene, Phillip, Catalina, Gregory, Jacqueline, Ruben, Michael Jr., Racquel, Dakota, Mariano, Jason, Shae, Charlie, Troy, Ushla, Mikayla Esther, Geronimo and Julianna. Her 24 great grand children Justin, Thalia, Ava Lyse, Avelaka, Amelia, Cameron, Taylen, Aiyana, Ayden, Daniella, Moyla, Temet, Ace, Louie, Ryker, Aaliyah, Camilla, Raymond, Gianna, Elliana, Giselle, River, Josiah David and Baby Raeanna.
