He was born December 16, 1954 in Yonkers, NY to Joseph and Geraldine (Moore) Fedak. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, and honorably served in the Navy from 1973 to 1977. After thirty five years, William retired from AT&T in 2017. William had a gentle soul, massive heart and saw beyond people’s flaws. He was a best friend to many and unconditionally loved his family. He married the love of his life, Anna Hawryluk, on June 5, 1982. He leaves behind his daughter, Christina (Keefer) and son-in-law Matthew Keefer. He is the grandfather of Harrison and Bennett Keefer, whom he adored. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Charlotte (Powell), John, Robert and Mary (Cushing). He was predeceased by his brother Joseph in 2018. William was an avid Los Angeles Dodger, Lakers and Rams fan. He was a terrific golfer and enjoyed sports, movies, crossword puzzles and trivia. As William often said with a big smile, “You can pick your nose. You can pick your friends. But you can’t pick your friend’s nose.” Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday 4-8pm. Pannakhyda Service Friday 7:30pm. Funeral service will be held in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church on Saturday November 7th at 9:45am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
