Vincent L. Pici

He was born on March 2, 1930 to Anna Liguori and Vincent Pici in Yonkers, N.Y. Vincent attended Yonkers schools and graduated from Saunders High School. He went on to Manhattan College graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering. As a proud Veteran, he served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. Vincent started his engineering career with the City of Yonkers in the Engineering Department. In July 1978, he became the head of the Yonkers Building Department and proudly retired in 1992. He married Helen Meyer in 1993 and they share a wonderful family together, consisting of their children, Vincent (Jeanne), Diane (Frank), Michael, Charles (Debra), Michael (Julie) and their grandchildren, Brittany (Brendan), Amanda, Nicole, Matthew, Kieran, Timothy, Cora, Alyssa and Amelia. Vincent enjoyed taking daily walks, listening to his music and planting flowers in his garden. His greatest joy was his love for his family, especially his grandchildren. He adored spending time with them, whether it was watching a game at a ball field, sharing a meal at a restaurant or taking their annual family vacations to Rhode Island. Vincent was predeceased by his parents Anna and Vincent, his first wife Marie in 1976, his brother Ralph and his sister Antoinette.

Visiting hours for Vincent will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, N.Y. 10703 on Tuesday May 21st at 9:30am. Interment is private.
