Theodore M. Bernhardi Jr.

Theodore M. Bernhardi Jr., age 72, of Yonkers, New York passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. Theodore was born August 18, 1950. Predeceased by his parents Theodore Marcel and Christina Mildred (nee Dando) Bernhardi and brother-in-law Edward Jefferis, Jr. He graduated from Saunders Trades and Technical High School, where he was a member of the track team. Westchester Community College and Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont, Texas. He also served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a Professional Sky Diver with over 1700 jumps to his credit. Theodore worked for many years with his Dad, who was a machinist, at Gabe Industrial Enterprises, doing a lot of work for Life Saver, Inc. during those years until Dad retired.

Survived by his wife Loretta Bernhardi (Lora McMahon Licht), sister, Lynn Jefferis, nieces and nephews Erin Lynn (Jason), Christina (Chris), Edward III, Timothy, Sarah and their children: Matthew, Edward IV, Emily, Kennard, Levi, Hunter and Colton.

A memorial visitation for Theodore will be held Monday, August 29, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703, followed by a memorial service from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
