Susan Smiarowski

Susan Smiarowski (nee O’Loughlin), a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Friday January 10, 2014 at her residence. She was 51 years old. She was born on April 20,1962 to Francis and Audrey Mitsakos O’Loughlin in the Bronx. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers. She is survived a son, Joseph Smiarowski of Staten Island, a brother, Thomas O’Loughlin of the Bronx and a sister, Karen Hawkins of Norwood, NJ. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Sal Barone and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Final disposition will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the National Autism Association, New York/Metro Chapter, 60 East 96th Street, Apt. SCD, New York, N.Y. 10128.
