

She was born in Yonkers, NY on May 27, 1938 to the late Silvio (Slim) and Mary (Caputo) Picchianti. She was the middle child to siblings Arthur (predeceased) and Maryann.
She was a vibrant, funny, affectionate, and a caring person. Roseanne married Patsy Cianciulli of New Rochelle, NY and had two beautiful daughters JoAnne and Karen.
When the two divorced in 1971, a few years later she found the love of her life John D. Cassano (predeceased), whom she & her husband built and worked together to make a Yonkers landmark known as Johnny’s Florist which is still standing today! They retired in 1998 & spent most of their time at their home in Florida.
The two loved traveling, spending time with family, and the holidays. She was the greatest daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her sibling Maryann (William) McCormack, devoted daughters JoAnne (Mauro) Piccininni, Karen (Anthony) Misilmeri, and her beloved grandchildren Alexis Piccininni and Ashley Misilmeri.
The family has asked that whose lives Roseanne touched are invited to the WHALEN & BALL FUNERAL HOME, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers NY 10703, for visitation Tuesday 10/22/24 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11 am at St. Ann's Church, 854 Midland Ave., Yonkers, N.Y. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
